Formula550 pH Up preparation for raising the pH level of nutrient solution or water. Used together with Formula550 products and other macro and micronutrient fertilizers.

The acidity level (pH) is one of the most important indicators of the quality of the nutrient solution. The availability of nutrients for plant roots depends on it, the stability of important chelate and organomineral complexes. pH is measured on a scale from 1 to 14; a pH value of 7 is considered neutral. Acids are below 7 and alkalis (bases) are higher . The ideal acidity level of the nutrient solution depends on the specific plant species. But most cultures prefer a slightly acidic nutrient solution, pH 5.5-6.5.

The pH is highly dependent on the composition of the water used to prepare it. Therefore, in many cases, the acidity of the solution must be adjusted, more often in the direction of lowering the pH.

Important! If the solution is used for a long time, especially in flow hydroponics and aeroponic systems, acidity. Check the pH of the solution regularly (preferably daily). If the pH is outside the target range, it must be adjusted with Formula550 pH Down and Formula550 pH Up, respectively. Using a nutrient solution with the wrong pH can lead to chlorosis and other signs of a lack (excess) of nutrients, as well as the accumulation of sediments in the solution.

Instructions for use pH Up :

• Shake well before use;
• Equalize the pH level after adding all the ingredients to the nutrient solution;
• Add ~ 0.2 ml per liter to the Formula550 pH Up solution ;
• Mix thoroughly;
• Measure the pH level of the nutrient solution;
• Repeat the steps until the desired pH is obtained.

Precautions for storage and use:

• It is recommended to wear rubber gloves.
• In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse with copious amounts of water until the acute sensation of pain is relieved and seek medical advice immediately.
• Store in a tightly closed bottle at temperatures between 0 ° C and 30 ° C;
• Avoid freezing;
• Keep out of the reach of children.
